When I joined Quandri, insurance brokerages were still buried in manual processes.
Brokers spent hours each day chasing renewals, comparing quotes, and replying to frustrated clients - while AI was just beginning to enter the conversation.
Two years later, Quandri became one of Canada’s leading AI-first platforms for insurance, powering the daily workflows of 5 of the 10 largest brokerages, reducing manual work by 65%, and improving client retention by 30%.
I helped build that transformation - from research to release - leading the design vision, shaping the product architecture, and defining how AI could feel intuitive, trustworthy, and human.

Our goal was simple: make AI an invisible assistant that works seamlessly through a broker’s day - anticipating needs, surfacing insights, and saving time.
To understand the nuances of how brokers actually worked, I spent months interviewing and shadowing them.

Policy Requoting taught AI to identify rate increases, trigger comparisons, and recommend alternative carriers automatically.
My process:
Conducted comparative UX analysis of existing quoting systems to uncover cognitive overload issues.
Designed AI comparison screens showing premium deltas, coverage differences, and confidence scores.
Prototyped the end-to-end requoting flow in Figma, ran moderated usability sessions with 12 brokers, and refined logic based on their decisions.
